After the energy expended at Saturday’s show at the King’s Head, The Steamers are sitting back to relax for awhile. That, and the fact that a new little baby Steamer is about to be born. Hot Karl is about to spawn another heir the the Steamer Nation so he needs time off to prepare himself. The fact that we have yet to determine which of the Karlettes is the mother has HK a little stressed. We are all waiting anxiously to see what kind of hair the young Steamer emerges with - big and curly, big and blond, or big and spiky will say it all. 

 OK, back to the King’s Head. what a rockin’ night. Thanks so much to all you who came out to jam the night away.  Special thanks going out to you yellow dancing man. We love you, man. The bar staff said you kept them on their toes and we managed to break a few King’s Head records. Way to make the Steamer Nation proud. 

Sometimes our rock star nature does get the best of us, and the staff did threaten to kick us out before the show even began. But thankfully our lawyer stepped in and smoothed it all over before it ended up turning in to a good old fashioned ball room brawl, so we still got to play. The biggest misfortune of the night turned out to be the poor girls dancing in front. Apologies to the lovelies that got stepped on by the Cleveland Steamer. Come out to our next gig and we’ll get him to buy you a replacement drink for the one he caused you to dump all over yourself and your friend after he broke your toe. Hope you had a good night anyway.

  And thank you fans for all the kind words between sets. We’re glad you like our outfits - we spend a lot of time and energy into designing them and in the words of Mary Kay “Looking good is feeling good.” 

One question though - what is “camel toe?”

Well, by golly we actually made it into 2008!  

For those of you who weren’t welcome at The Steamers corporate Christmas party - here’s what you missed:

A helluva good time!!

We took that place by storm…and they loved it. The paparazzi were all over us and security had to throw ‘em out. But there was a little mishap and they threw out our own Bobby Vegas with the Paps.It was awful. He and the chicky he had with him tried to outrun them, but they were close on his tail. He was just trying to get away when the cops pulled him over. Said he was speeding, but I reckon they just wanted Mr. Bobby V’s autograph. 

Anyway, they charged him DUI, but I think it’s a scam cause he wouldn’t sign the officer’s bare chest. The way Bobby V tells it, there was way too much hair on that chest for the pen to get through. Cause we were all havin’ a Christmas party, none of us heard the phones so poor Bobby V had to spend the night in prison before we got the message to go bail him out. Didn’t do him any harm though. When Hot Karl went to get him, Bobby V was leading the whole cell in a sing song. I think he was just still on a high from being voted Steamer of the year, 2007. 
  

But, you know, it’s hard being who we are.

Well, the Steamers have been busy this year, but we have this short moment to say Rock On Steamer fans!!!!That’s right, we wouldn’t be at this incredibly successful stage of our  careers if it weren’t for you - the dedicated ones who come out to our shows and dance your steamers off. So, to you midget man and Yellow shirt crazy dude, we thank you.Tomorrow we have our traditional festive holiday party. We wish you all the best for the holidays and we do it now cause last year we almost lost one of the band to alcohol poisoning after the holiday party - and this year we’re pretty sure it’ll happen again. in case one of don’t make it through the rock star style of partying we are accustomed to…happy new year.
